Lingerie advice for men.

So its time for you gentlemen to carry out some lingerie detective work!  At Pandoraschoice we realise how important it is for men to buy the right lingerie and underwear for their partner. We have put together some useful tips for men when buying lingerie but don't forget that Pandoraschoice will exchange or refund your purchase as per our terms and conditions. We have put together a selection of general lingerie tips but also some golden rules!

General lingerie advice

Lingerie Tip #1 Familiarise yourself with your partners lingerie colour range. You should get a good idea what colours your partner likes and does not like.

Lingerie Golden Rule - Women generally do like red lingerie. Men THINK women love red lingerie. If you are buying red make sure your partner likes it.

Lingerie Tip #2 Take a discreet look at your partners sizes - Remember that sizes vary from make to make especially bra sizes. You can only do your best and remember you can exchange / refund - but you can always call or email for advice.

Lingerie Tip #3 Practical lingerie for women is generally not sexy lingerie but sexy lingerie can be very confortable if the right choice is made. This is especially the case with retro style lingerie from Pandoras Choice that encompasses classic practicality and sexy chic in lingerie.

Stockings and suspender belt advice

Lingerie Tip #4  Buy suspender belts with metal clasps not plastic. Most modern suspender belts use cheap plastic suspender straps which allow stockings to come loose and fall down the leg - not ideal. All our suspender belt straps are fully ajustable to allow for a perfect fit

Lingerie Tip #5 Fully fashioned stockings are made with a seam sewn in as the stockings are made. These are traditional stockings and are ultra sheer and more expensive. Normal stockings with seams on average between £5-£10 are not fully fashioned.

Bra Advice

Lingerie Tip #6 There are a number of different bra types and sizes available. Bra measurements are done with a number and letters. The number donates the the measurement in inches (in the UK) underneath the bust. The Letter or letters donate the bust size From A downwards (A being the smallest) So 34 B means 34inches measured around the body underneath the bust and B donates the bust size.

	Bullet Bra or Cone bra	The bullet bra is bery rigid i.e. No stretch and is the classic 1950s style bra to make the breasts have a pointed look. Made famous by Lady Gaga and Madonna
	Full Bra	This is a bra that fully supports the bust and is underwired (a wire that goes in the bra cup for extra support)
	Longline Bra	The longline bra has a built in panel to add support and control to the tummy.
	Non Padded Non Wired Bra	This is a bra with no padding (to enhance the bust or wire for support. These are not preferred by women with a very small bust or a very large bust!
	Open Bra	This is an open bra that just supports the bust from underneath - all you need to habe is a chest size eg 32..34 etc as there is no support to the whole bust.
	Underwired Bra	This is an undert wired bra providing extra support without padding to the bust.
	Padded and underwired bra	Bra with padding to fill out the bust size and give extra comfort and underwired for extra support.
